Chocolate Fondue



Bring whipping cream to simmer in heavy medium saucepan. Reduce heat to low. Add chopped chocolate and 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier (optional); whisk until mixture is smooth. Remove fondue from heat and blend in remaining 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier (optional). Transfer chocolate to fondue pot. Place pot on rechaud base over cradle. Serve with angle food cake pieces, lady fingers, and variety of fruit for dipping. Serves 4.


NOTE: If chocolate capacity reaches less than 2 cm in pot, extinguish candle flame as pot may break.
